WOODEN CONSERVATORY SPECIALISTS
Made to look like they've always belonged.
We design and build exquisite wooden conservatories in London and across the UK. Every timber-framed, glazed extension is made to match the original style of your home, whether it is Victorian, Georgian, Edwardian or earlier. With a heritage dating back to the 1980s, we specialise in bespoke period conservatories that feel as though they have always been part of the house.
These are not off-the-shelf kits. Each period conservatory reflects careful attention to historic detailing, craft traditions and proportion, made with the same level of care as the original building.
Period character on the outside, modern comfort within.

We’re absolutely delighted with our new pergola, it has completely transformed our garden. It's sleek and modern, and the glass panels make the space feel open and bright while still providing excellent shelter from wind and rain.

FAQ
Period conservatory questions, answered
A few of the things homeowners ask us most often. Anything else, just ask.
What is a period conservatory?
A period conservatory is a timber-framed, glazed extension designed to match the historic style of your home, from Victorian and Georgian to Edwardian and earlier. It combines authentic period detailing with modern glazing and insulation.
What is the difference between a wooden conservatory and a modern one?
A wooden, or period, conservatory uses hardwood frames, pitched roofs and historic detailing to suit an older property. A modern conservatory uses slim aluminium frames, frameless glazing and clean contemporary lines.
What is the difference between a Victorian and a Georgian conservatory?
Victorian styles feature ornate detailing, pitched roofs and angled bay fronts. Georgian styles are known for clean lines, balanced proportions and refined symmetry.
What is the difference between a conservatory and an orangery?
A conservatory is mostly glass with a lighter structure. An orangery includes more masonry, a solid roof perimeter and roof lanterns, so it feels more permanent while still letting in plenty of light.
Can you build a period conservatory on a listed property?
Yes. We specialise in listed buildings and conservation areas, and manage planning and heritage consent on your behalf.
